Matcha Balls

Matcha (green tea powder) is my latest obsession! And it's an amazing (under rated) superfood. Matcha is an anti-estrogenic, is crazy high in antioxidants (anti-aging!), promotes and enhances concentration, memory, and energy. And to top it all off it gives your metabolism a good boost. Whats not to love?

Matcha Balls

Makes 22 balls

  • 250g cashews
  • 2 Tbsp matcha tea powder
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1 cup coconut butter, melted
  • pinch salt
  1. In a food processor, blend cashews until you have a fine cashew flour - some chunks are fine.
  2. Put your cashews in a big bowl (big enough to put your hands in and mix) and add your matcha, honey, coconut butter and salt.
  3. Get your hands in there! Everything should come together fairly quickly. At this point you can start shaping the mixture into balls. I used a tablespoon to measure out how much mixture I wanted to make each ball so that they were all the same.
  4. Let the balls set in the fridge for 20-30 minutes
