Matcha Balls

Matcha (green tea powder) is my latest obsession! And it's an amazing (under rated) superfood. Matcha is an anti-estrogenic, is crazy high in antioxidants (anti-aging!), promotes and enhances concentration, memory, and energy. And to top it all off it gives your metabolism a good boost. Whats not to love?

Lemon and poppy seed balls

I'm one for fruity flavours. And I think sometimes everyone wants a break from chocolate once in a while! These balls have just the right amount of zing, and the poppy seeds add a nice crunch.

Buckwheat Pancakes

Buckwheat is my favorite ingredient at the moment. It can be used so many different ways. Buckwheat (which is not actually wheat) helps control your blood sugar levels and is packed with protein, making it a perfect breakfast option!

Green Bliss Bites

I am of the (probably very unpopular) opinion that spirulina is absolutely delicious! Spirulina is an algae that has an abundance of protein, iron, B vitamins, and a whole variety essential minerals. This delicious recipe teams spirulina with a bunch of nuts and seeds to create a bite sized ball full of everything you need to give you that extra boost when you really need it!

Raw Vanilla Bean Coconut Yogurt

Before I went vegan I really loved yogurt. And Australia doesn't have too much to offer in the way of dairy free yogurts that aren't full of nasty additives, refined sugars, and don't cost double what they should! Yogurt is such an easy thing to make, even dairy free, it just needs a little more thinking. I have been trying to get a recipe for an organic soy yogurt right, but in the mean time i have come up with this. Its SO nutrient dense, SO yummy, and being all raw and vegan friendly, totally guilt free!

Raw Apple Pie Bars

These bars are so yummy, so simple, and so nutrient dense! And they taste like apple pie, and who doesn't like apple pie?! I dehydrated my own apples for these, and activated my almonds by soaking them overnight and then dehydrating them, but you could just as easily buy them already done, or not worry about it and just use them as they are.

Raw Buckwheat Chia Breakfast Pudding

I have been really loving buckwheat at the moment, its a really under estimated food. Buckwheat is not actually wheat (even though its name may say otherwise!) and has a big list of nutritional benefits. Buckwheat helps draw out excess water from your body, so its great for combating any bloat, or water weight.

Those are also some grain free banana muffins in the background, with 2 glasses of home made kombucha.

As a heads up, this recipe does require some extra prep time, so start it the day before you want to have it.
